If you've read the title and thought, ‘Well, nothing can beat dogs and tractors at a wedding,’ then you're in the right place! This Isleham countryside wedding had it all, a stunning marquee, a peaceful Cambridgeshire setting, and some seriously adorable four-legged friends. From dogs to tractors, this day truly embraced the heart of countryside life. Let's take a look at how this rustic wedding unfolded!
A Quiet Village & Tractors rolling down the Streets
The wedding took place in Isleham, a quaint little village surrounded by wide, open fields, perfect for the farm-style wedding the couple had envisioned. After the ceremony, the couple took a slow, joyful ride in their tractor through the winding village lanes. I’ll admit, it was slow enough for me to grab a quick picture while driving, nothing beats a tractor bobbing through the village like that! It felt like a moment they'd love looking back on.

Dogs, Tractors, and Hay Bales – A Farm Wedding Dream
Once we arrived at the couple’s own piece of land, the dogs were brought out for their moment to shine. They had two adorable dogs who were total pros when it came to photos. They sat calmly for pictures and ran around with excitement, clearly thrilled to be a part of the celebration. Our furry fiends are a big part of family life and I love it when couples want them as part of their day!

The couple decided to recreate a tractor photo from years ago, taken outside the church. We made our way to the reception venue, and when we arrived there was even more tractors adding to the rustic charm.

There was also a hay bale tower, which made for some hilarious photo opportunities. Guests were climbing up and down, trusting their partners to catch them as they jumped off. These are the types of moments I LOVE capturing! Super natural, fun, and full of emotion. It was a day filled with laughter, and those are the moments I live for as a photographer.

A Wedding Unique to the Couple
The groom, has a deep connection to the land and he’s passionate about supporting local farmers. The bride who shares a love for animals, is equally passionate about the outdoors. Their appreciation for the natural world really shines through in their wedding.
Together, they created a wedding day that was truly unique to them, with personal touches that reflected their love for the countryside. Their laid-back vibe made capturing their day a true pleasure, and it was an honour to photograph such a special celebration.

Why I Love Farm Weddings – Fun, Authenticity, and Sustainability
I absolutely love rustic weddings because they have such a natural, fun atmosphere. The couples I work with in this setting often have a connection to the outdoors and a laid-back approach to their day. Whether it’s tractor rides, hay bales, or the simplicity of the countryside, there’s something so special about these weddings—they’re authentic, relaxed, and full of moments that truly reflect the couple’s personalities.
Farm weddings are becoming more popular not just because of the natural beauty but because they align with values many couples hold dear: supporting local, being conscious about the environment, and having a meaningful connection to the land. As a sustainable wedding photographer, I love capturing days that are all about having fun, celebrating with loved ones, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. Farm weddings do that perfectly!

So, If you’re planning a rustic, farm-style wedding with tractors, dogs, or just want to embrace the beauty of the countryside, I’d love to help you capture every special moment. Let’s chat and create something memorable together—just like this fun, emotional, and totally unique celebration in Cambridgeshire!
